The CONNECT Business Network – making connections locally
CONNECT meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at Macroom E. These meetings are about local businesses getting together, making contacts, sharing ideas, opportunities and solutions to challenges. The meetings kick off at 8.45am with a guest speaker, followed by four facilitated networking rounds where each participant has the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business.
All businesses are welcome to attend.€3 per person. Please register in advance.
We aim to make these meetings easy for first time attendees. Don’t worry & don’t be shy…you won’t be asked to stand up in front of the group to introduce yourself! The meetings are ‘cabaret’ style so you’ll only ever be in a group of four or five others. Come at 8.45am and help yourself to tea or coffee and a little scone, mingle until 9.00am when everyone sits and the guest speaker gives their talk. After that, you’ll have ten minutes for each person at your table to introduce themselves. We’ll ring a bell and everyone moves to another table for another ten minutes – and repeat twice more so by the end of the morning, you’ll hopefully have met quite a few new people.
Don’t forget to bring business cards, brochures and stories of your work!
