About the YEA
ECO-UNESCO’s Young Environmentalist Awards is an all-Ireland environmental awards programme that recognises and rewards young people who raise environmental awareness and improve the environment. WasteMatchers is proud to be a part of this in 2012, further encouraging young people to look at ways of reusing items that might otherwise be waste and creating an awareness around waste minimisation.
Wastematchers is Cork’s online reuse site!
Supported by Cork County Council and the South Cork Enterprise Board and managed by Macroom E, this is the place to go if you’re looking for gems that other people are getting rid of or if you’re looking for a home for your own household stuff that you no longer want but it’s too good to throw out!
